The True GDM-49-HC~TSL01 is a commercial-grade, two-section glass door merchandiser built to offer maximum visibility, energy efficiency, and long-lasting performance for food and beverage retail environments. Its double-pane, thermal-insulated glass doors and bright LED lighting ensure a clean, attractive display that entices customers while maintaining cold temperatures between 33°F and 38°F.
Designed with two swinging glass doors, each door features extruded 12-inch handles for a secure grip and smooth operation. To ensure superior temperature retention, the doors include magnetic gaskets that form a tight seal and can be easily removed for cleaning or replacement.
Inside, the unit includes 8 adjustable PVC-coated wire shelves with chrome-plated clips for flexible product arrangement. The white aluminum interior and stainless steel floor are easy to clean and built for durability. The cabinet's foam-in-place polyurethane insulation ensures maximum cold air retention, while the black powder-coated exterior resists peeling, chipping, and wear.
The bottom-mounted condensing unit keeps key components cooler and cleaner, lifting the bottom shelf for ergonomic product access. The capillary tube system uses R290 hydrocarbon refrigerant, a natural and eco-friendly refrigerant that efficiently maintains safe storage temperatures.
For ease of maintenance, the unit's reverse condensing fan motor runs backward for 20 seconds after startup, helping remove dust and debris from the condensing coil. This self-cleaning feature, along with electronically commutated motors (ECMs) for the evaporator and condenser fans, improves energy efficiency, airflow, and component lifespan.
